Purpose: In this discussion, you will focus on the concept of a growth mindset and how it impacts you in the workplace and in your personal life.
Prepare:
Start by taking a look at the growth mindset infographic below. Last week you learned about the concept of growth mindset in Intellipath. Here is where we begin to put it into action! Growth mindset is powerful. It allows you to learn from you past experiences and leverage your future opportunities. The discussion will focus on how you can live this concept in your everyday interactions in life and work.
Continue on to your Unit 2 Learning Path in Intellipath (located in the Assignments List). This week we will introduce you to the most common workplace cultures. This information will help you make sense of the expectations of whatever workplace you might find yourself in and provide you with a clear path to making the most of the culture to further your own professional growth and development, using growth mindset. We will build on the information provided here next week in Unit 3, so take note!
