Since each claim is set within constraint where x ≥ 1, BOTH companies appear to have REALISTIC models. The company whose yearly profits follow the linear model P(x) = 10x – 7 has a valid claim since the graph comes out linear and increasing under the conditions set whereas the other company that gains annual profits represented by P(x) = 15√(x – 1) + 3 also exhibits a valid claim since the graph turns out an increasing radical function as well.
